The problems are both practical and financial. Can we always trust installers, manufacturers and retailers to give us honest information about their products? Can we always trust the advice of bloggers and social media clickbait?
What else do we do?
- Provide all this information and insight free of charge.
What we don’t do:
We are not a company aiming to sell you anything. Although a big part of the site is based around local residents talking about their experiences with installers, DIY, equipment, materials etc, it is not a review site however residents will be able to discuss with each other any positive or negative experiences with installer and retailers.
Who we are:

Pete Thomas
